By accessing or using Akwaaba Connect DE ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Akwaaba Connect DE is a community platform designed to help people living in Germany — particularly members of the Ghanaian and wider African diaspora — find jobs, housing, community connections, and navigate German bureaucracy. The App provides:

• Job and housing listing boards.
• Community posts and announcements.
• Document guides and AI-powered document scanning.
• AI-assisted CV and cover letter generation.

3. User Accounts

• Some features require registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Content

• You retain ownership of content you post (listings, community posts, etc.).
• By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and distribute your content within the App.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content.
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or is reported as inappropriate.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or information.
• Harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users.
• Use the App for illegal activities or to promote illegal services.
• Post scam job offers, fake housing ads, or deceptive content.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorization.
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the App.

6. Content Moderation

All listings and community posts are subject to moderation. We may approve, reject, or remove content at our discretion. Verified badges indicate additional trust checks but do not constitute a guarantee.

7. AI-Generated Content

The App uses AI to generate CVs, cover letters, and document explanations. This content is provided as a helpful starting point and should be reviewed by the user. We do not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated content for any specific purpose.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• Job listings will lead to employment.
• Housing listings are accurate or available.
• Document guides constitute legal advice.

Always verify information independently and seek professional advice when needed.

9. Fraud Prevention & User Responsibility

You are strongly advised to:

• Perform your own due diligence before responding to any job, housing, or community listing.
• Never send money or share sensitive personal information (bank details, ID documents, passwords) to unknown parties.
• Meet in public places when arranging viewings or interviews.
• Verify the identity of the person or organisation behind any listing.
• Report suspicious listings immediately using the Report button on any listing.

The platform serves solely as an information-sharing tool. Akwaaba Connect DE does not act as an employer, landlord, agent, or intermediary in any transaction between users.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Akwaaba Connect DE and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Losses from reliance on listings, offers, or AI-generated content.
• Financial loss, property damage, or personal harm resulting from interactions with other users.
• Fraudulent, misleading, or inaccurate listings posted by third parties.
• Any transaction, agreement, or arrangement made between users outside the platform.

By using this platform, you acknowledge and accept that all interactions with listings and other users are at your own risk.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
